InCanada’sEnglishspeakingprovincesofficialbilingualism(双语)meansthatstudentscanchoosetocompleteaspecialFrenchlanguagecourse.UnderthisprogramtheyaretaughtmostoftheirsubjectsinFrench.
Ifastudentbeginsthecourseinkindergarten(幼儿园)orGradeOneitislikelythatalltheirlessonswillbeinFrench.Howeveriftheystartatjuniorhighschool25percentoftheteachingwillcontinuetobeinEnglish.
