某日佛祖降临,他看到了蜘蛛,知它修炼已久,佛祖便问它:“你知道什么是最珍贵的?”蜘蛛在这大梁上生活了一千年,每日里有许多人来求佛,他们总是爱自己得不到的,最想念的是失去的,于是它回答佛祖:“是得不到的和已经失去的.”
佛祖点了点头笑着走了,蜘蛛依然在梁上每日织网修炼,它想终有一天佛祖会再来,那时便是它得道之日.
又是一千年过去了,这一日佛祖又至,“又一千年了,还是那个问题——什么是最珍贵的?”蜘蛛想了想:“是得不到的和已经失去的!”佛祖却摇了摇头,:“再过一千年,我还会再来.”
蜘蛛有些迷惑,这么久的时光里,它总是见到人们来求自己得不到的东西,来忏悔自己已经失去的,那种思念与痛不欲生还不足以证明什么是最珍贵的吗?
在一个清晨,风把一滴露珠带到了蜘蛛的网上,那滴露珠晶莹剔透,光彩熠熠,蜘蛛每日里看着,不知不觉中它爱上了露珠,就在它想要和露珠成亲时,风却又把露珠带走了,蜘蛛觉得它最珍贵的东西不见了,再无心修炼,痛不欲生.这时佛祖来了,佛祖又一次问蜘蛛:“现在你知道什么是最珍贵的了吗?”蜘蛛回答:“得不到和已失去的.”
佛祖什么也没说,挥手做法,一瞬间,蜘蛛投到了凡间,成了一位千金小姐,它遇到了同样变为人的露珠,她以为佛祖听到了她的祈祷,成全了她的心愿.
露珠对她很好,但她总觉的少了什么,直到有一天露珠成亲了,新娘却不是她,蜘蛛觉得自己什么也没有了,佛祖根本没有听到她的祈祷没有成全她,她绝望着想要死去,奄奄一息时,那个每日默默等在门口只为看上她一眼的男人闯了进来,在她床前哭死了过去,他甚至希望用自己的命去换取她的生机,蜘蛛感动了,可它已经说不出话,佛祖来到了它的面前:“你现在看清什么是最珍贵的了吗?你喜欢露珠,可你是否想过它是从哪里来的?它是被风带来的,也是被风带走的,即便你们相处的很好,但它从始至终都不曾属于过你,它属于风!你可知道,哭的人是谁?”蜘蛛不语,它看看四周,又回到了寺庙里,它还是蜘蛛,无意的低头看到了墙角,那里一株小草挂满了泪滴,“你喜欢露珠,可露珠不属于你,但它喜欢了你三千年,你却从未曾低头看过它一眼.”……
