Themainlycharacteristicoftrappingmaterialsisthetrapdepth.Soitissignificanttocalculatethetrapdepthforthetrappingmaterials.Anewmethodofcalculatingtrapdepth,whichisbasedonenergybandandusingrateequationstoanalyzethermoluminescence,wasbroughtforward.Thismethodwhichusestherateequationsoftheprocessandthethermoluminescencecurvecanreplacetraditionalmethodssuchasfirstorderorsecondorderkinetics.ThetrapdepthofSrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+andSr4Al14O25:Eu2+,Dy3+wasestimatedfromtheglowcurve.Thenthenumevicalsolutionofthetrapdepthcanbeobtained.Fromtheresultsofexperimentsandcalculations,thismethodcanaccuratelyindicatethewholeprocess.
