Irememberthatmyfirstjobwasapart-timestaffinacateringcompanywhenIwassixteenyearsold.Firstofall,Iwasafraidforanything,soinmyfirstdayofwork,Icouldn’tgetalonewitheachotherwaiter.Afteraweek,Ihadgettingbetteroftheinterpersonalskill,andIalsotriedtotalkwithmybossandcustomers.However,it’sajob,sometimesIwouldfeltboredanddetest,soIfoundtheotherinterestpartofthejob.Itisobservethecustomer’sbehaviorandIrealizedthathandcouldshowalotofsecrettome.Forexample;didshemarried?Somecrudehandmeansheneedtoworkheavy.Someguysusethehandtoholdtheirheadmeanhehadsometroubleorheisconfusedbysomething.
Obviously,Iamacuriousboy,soI’dlovetohaveconversationwiththem.First,Iwouldwalkinfrondofthecustomerandaskdoyouneedonemoredrink…mostofthemwouldsayyes.Secondly,Iwouldgivethemabeerorredwine,andthen,Iwouldsaythatwhataboringday…doyouhaveanythingwouldliketosharewithme?OrIsaidthatyoujustlookbored,doyouwanttotalk?MaybeIwasjustsixteenandIlookedsonaive.Mostofthemwouldtellmethetruthstraightly,maybetheyneverexpectIwouldgivesomesuggestiontosolvetheirproblem,butbeaspectatorisveryeasytounderstandhisemotions.Admittedly,Ihadsurprisedthemandhadgivensomepossiblewaytohelpthem.Unfortunately,Iwouldneverknowtheanswer,becauseIjustforgottheirnameandface.
